Resurrection Methodist Church is pleased to announce that Rev. Howard Huhn has been appointed as our new Senior Pastor. Howard is a graduate of Asbury Seminary and has served in Methodist churches since 1999. As a Senior Pastor, he has led a church from decline to growth. He is currently the Executive Pastor at Friendswood Methodist Church. He has extensive experience in leading staff and working with capital campaigns and building projects. He is a gifted preacher with a passion for sharing the gospel and guiding people to a deep, vibrant faith in Jesus Christ. His wife, Krystal, is a successful Realtor and is highly involved in missions and prayer. They have two children – Kayla (and her husband, Noah), who is teaching in Spain as a Fulbright Scholar, and Wesley, who is in his first year at UTSA studying Cybersecurity. Howard is a published author (Unplugging Christmas, currently out of print), and winner of the 2005 Copeland Award for Evangelism. He is the former Director of Communications for the Trinity Conference and currently serves as a Connecting Elder. He maintains a blog of sermons and other resources at holymustard.org.
