Celebration Class:

This Bible Study is led by Wayne Hooks and meets every Wednesday evening from 5-6pm at Sam’s Place.  The Celebration Bible Study class studies how to faithfully lead a Christian life. Wayne uses the Bible and Christian authors as his basis for the lessons. Our class also has a card ministry that sends cards to those who need encouragement, sympathy, or get-well messages. The class participates in several mission projects during the year. One of them is to send a monthly donation to Katy Christian Ministries to help support their Christian Outreach programs. New Beginnings:

New Beginnings a small group is currently studying the class series of Ancient Christianity, one of the Hillsdale College's on-line streaming courses.  We rotate member facilitators for open dialogue and discussions. This group meets every Thursday from 5-6pm at Sam’s Place. Our mission is to support the growth of Resurrection Church. To find out more, contact Kathy Carroll at  

The Chrysalis Class:

This Bible Study meets every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30pm at Sam’s Place. We use Standard Lesson Commentary to study the Scripture. Our mission is to help various local ministries. Please, contact Nadine Freeman at  

Seekers - Bible Study

Join us for the Seekers Bible Study, where we gather in the hallway leading up to the Katy High School gym every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. just before the church service. Our class is open to all ages and genders, and we focus solely on the Bible to deepen our study and draw closer to the Lord.  For more information, please contact Gerry Finch at .

Directions to Sam’s Place:

Sam’s Place is located at 505 Stonegate. Stonegate is the first road on your left past the John Deere store. Turn left onto Stonegate and go all the way down to the last warehouse on your right. The entrance is on the I-10 side of the building (southside). Turn into the parking lot and go to the end of the building.
