At Resurrection Church, our Adult Ministry provides opportunities for spiritual growth, meaningful relationships, and active participation in the life of the church. Through Bible studies, fellowship gatherings, and special events, adults of all ages are invited to connect, grow, and serve together.

Celebration Class

This Bible Study is led by Wayne Hooks and meets every Wednesday evening from 5-6 pm at Brookshire Methodist Church (Fellowship Hall), located at 707 Cooper Rd, 77423. The Celebration Class studies how to faithfully lead a Christian life. Wayne uses the Bible and Christian authors as his basis for the lessons. This class also has a card ministry that sends cards to those who need encouragement, sympathy, or get-well messages. The class participates in several mission projects during the year. One of this is sending a monthly donation to Katy Christian Ministries (KCM) to help support them in their Christian outreach programs. To learn more, contact Ellen Hooks at .

New Beginnings

New Beginnings is a small group that studies a variety of topics such as Methodism and Ancient Christianity, one of the Hillsdale College on-line streaming courses. We rotate member facilitators for open dialogue and discussions. This group meets every Sunday at 8:30 am at Katy High School in a classroom off the Sanctuary. The Chrysalis Class

This Bible Study meets every Sunday immediately after church in a classroom off the Sanctury at Katy High School. We use Standard Lesson Commentary to study Scripture. To learn more, contact Nadine Freeman at .

Seekers - Bible Study

Join us for the Seekers Bible Study, where we gather in the hallway leading up to the Katy High School gym every Sunday at 9:00 am just before the church service. Men’s Ministry

Men are encouraged to join our ongoing gatherings designed to strengthen faith, build friendships, and encourage spiritual leadership.

• Men’s Breakfast – Held the first Saturday of each month, this time of fellowship includes food, prayer, and encouragement for men in all stages of life.

Women’s Ministry

Women are invited to participate in events that foster connection, encouragement, and spiritual growth within a supportive community.

• Resurrection Ladies Who Lunch – A monthly gathering designed for fellowship, conversation, and community over lunch in a welcoming environment.

Grow & Connect

In addition to scheduled gatherings, adults are invited to participate in Bible studies, classes, and seasonal events throughout the year. These opportunities are designed to deepen faith and strengthen relationships within the church family.
