What a joyful and festive day it has been as we celebrated Resurrection Katy's birthday! Our church family came together to mark this special occasion with a full day of fun, fellowship, and faith-filled moments.
The day began with the beautiful sacrament of baptism, where we welcomed three new members into the faith. It was a heartwarming sight to witness these individuals taking this significant step in their spiritual journey.
We were also thrilled to confirm 16 students into our church community (with one more joining next week, bringing the total to 17!). These young people have made a commitment to their faith, and we couldn't be prouder of them.
A highlight of the day was honoring our Levites—the dedicated members who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our church running smoothly. Their contributions are invaluable, and it was wonderful to take a moment to recognize their hard work and devotion.
The celebration continued with communion, a reminder of our unity in Christ, followed by a special proclamation from the Mayor! What an honor to have our church recognized by the local community.
And of course, what's a birthday without cake? We ended the day by enjoying a delicious treat and sharing smiles and laughter with friends and family.
