On behalf of the Global Methodist Church, Bishop Leah Gregory—who also serves as the Conference Superintendent of the MidTexas Annual Conference—has asked us to share the following update and invitation to help in response to the recent devastating floods across the region.
We want to thank the connection for the outpouring of prayers and support for the people of our conference. We have been humbled by those across the country who have reached out, giving voice and heart to what it means to be a connectional church. Thank you.
In the weeks and months ahead, we anticipate ongoing recovery efforts on the ground. We are currently working to establish safe and effective ways for volunteers to serve, and more information will be available in the coming days.
