Welcome to Resurrection Seniors

At Resurrection Church, we cherish our senior members and strive to create a supportive and vibrant community for them. Our Seniors Ministry is dedicated to fostering fellowship, spiritual growth, and active involvement in church life. We offer a variety of programs and events tailored to the unique needs and interests of our senior members.

Ministry Description

Our Seniors Ministry focuses on:

• Fellowship: Building lasting friendships through regular gatherings, outings, and social events.
• Spiritual Growth: Encouraging spiritual enrichment through Bible studies, prayer groups, and worship services.
• Support: Providing compassionate care and assistance during times of need.
• Service: Offering opportunities to give back to the community through volunteer work and outreach programs.

We host a variety of events specifically designed for our senior members. Here are some of the upcoming activities:

• Monthly Luncheons: Enjoy a delicious meal and great conversation with fellow seniors.
• Day Trips: Explore local attractions and enjoy fun outings with the group.
• Bible Studies: Deepen your faith through regular study sessions led by experienced facilitators.
• Special Celebrations: Join us for holiday parties, birthday celebrations, and other special occasions.

Monday, October 14th at 5:30 pm. Planning for the future with Schmidt Funeral Home At Mid-Way BBQ

Tuesday, October 22nd. Houston Space Center meet at 7:30 am Depart at 8:00 am Lunch at East Star Buffet.

Monday, October 28th at 5:30 pm. Monday Night Match Up at Lozano's

Tuesday, November 5th from 11 am to 2 pm. Luncheon @ Luby's Thanksgiving.  We will be taking a collection up for a charity.

Monday, November 11th at 10 am. Medicare Update at Southern Dough.

Thursday, November 14th, meet at 7:30 am Depart at 8:00 am. Madisonville Christmas Company. We will have two buses, 40 passengers and 60 passengers, so we have room for all that has signed up to attend the trip.

Monday, November 25th at 5:30 pm. Monday Night Match Up at Lozano's

Tuesday, December 3rd Christmas Luncheon @ Luby's 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bring 1 ornament for the door prize tree and 1 to give to the Luby's employees.  

Tuesday, December 17th. Magical Winter Lights (cost $20). Meet @ 4:00 PM depart  @ 4:30 pm
